What You Can Learn About Anthropology from YouTube

Who would have thought that DNA can be entertaining?

Yesterday in class, after boring slides on protein synthesis and DNA and other crap that should be in a biology class and not an anthropology class, the professor said he had a movie to play.

Usually when you think of a movie for class, you think a lame video from the '70s or '80s with some monotone nerd using foam props.

This video was from the '70s, but it was far from lame. For a good 10 minutes or so the class got to watch a bunch of dirty hippies dancing around a field. Interpretive dance? Whatever. Either way it was hilarious.

Watch this and be jealous that your class isn't this cool. Thank you professor, and thank you Paul Berg for allowing your stoner students to portray protein synthesis in the coolest way possible.

Oh, and be sure to listen to the guy singing. He announces each part of the 'process.'
