Dartmouth Yale Enthusiasts Release Recruitment Video

Were your hopes and dreams shattered when you received a rejection letter from Yale? If so, join the Dartmouth Yale Enthusiasts today, because you’re not alone.

For the uninitiated, the DYE is a totally-real-and-not-fictitious* student group comprised of Dartmouth freshmen who failed to get into Yale but have vowed to not stop trying.

That’s right – these aspiring Yalies desperately want to trade in their Hanover rags for the trademark neon pink polo shirts of New Haven, and to help facilitate the process, they’re depending on one another for “transfer application support, interview preparation and standardized test reviews.”

Before you click on the video above, let me stress one thing: there's nothing sadder than a group of desperate Ivy Leaguers. Nothing.

You’ve been warned.

*Actually, it is fake and part of an elaborate prank by Dartmouth’s humor magazine, Jack-O-Lantern, to trick young, impressionable freshmen.
