Grad Steals Over $100K, Pays His Bills
Busted!

What do you do if you work at a bank and need to borrow some money? Steal it from a dead guy's account, of course.

Angelo Cappelli, a graduate of Yale University, was recently arrested for stealing $114,989.00 from the estate of a recently deceased man. The estate totaled nearly $160,000 and was supposed to go to a local charity.

Cappelli, who worked at the bank where the money was deposited, went through quite some trouble to obtain the loot--forging documents, perjuring himself, and even creating a fake organization called the "Y Club of Tampa Bay." Alumni, take heart--you know your school has good brand recognition when criminals frequently use it to defraud people.

And what did he do with the money? "Subpoenaed documents have revealed that he used those funds to pay his personal bills, such as credit card debt and an insurance premium." Pretty bland uses for ill-gotten gains. Where are the hookers?!
