Well, the “Team of Rivals” is coming along nicely. Today in a press conference going on right now, Obama presented his national security team to the public. There are few surprises, but most notably Hillary Clinton has officially been offered the position of Secretary of State, which she accepted.

And the rest of the crew? We’ve got existing Secretary of Defense Robert Gates staying on, Jim Jones as National Security Adviser, Eric Holder as Attorney General, Janet Napolitano for Homeland Security and Susan Rice as US Ambassador. John Kerry is currently pissed.

So with all this in order, I’m not sure what’s left to announce. I think we just have to start counting down the days until inauguration.
