Tina Courtney Holt, 19, of West Roxbury, Mass., says she was so fearful of a group of “vengeful sorority girls” yesterday she packed her bags and left college.

Holt says she was hounded by the ladies of Phi Epsilon when she decided she didn't want to join their group and was “subjected to verbal abuse and grueling hazing that involved sitting for seven hours in the same position with other pledges.”

“It isn't a sorority; it's a cult,” Holt said.

She noted she did not look want to go through Phi Ep’s initiation ritual, which, she said, includes being branded in the groin area with a hot fork.
