In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Matt Damon spoke out on the Republican Party’s decision to nominate Alaska Governor and self-proclaimed “hockey mom,” Sarah Palin, for Vice President.
Needless to say, the Academy Award-winning actor is not pleased.
For Damon, Palin’s inexperience, coupled with McCain’s age, present the greatest concern.
“I think there's a really good chance Sarah Palin could become president, and I think that's a really scary thing... Do the actuary tables and there's a one out of three chance, if not more, that McCain doesn't survive his first term and it'll be President Palin.”
If such a “nightmare” should arise, Damon believes Palin won’t be ready to handle the responsibility that comes with being commander-in-chief.
“She’s facing down Vladimir Putin… using the folksy stuff she learned at the hockey rink… I need to know if she really thinks dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago… because she’s going to have the nuclear codes.”
Good question, Mr. Damon. America -- nay, the World -- needs an answer to this question before the November election.
Then again -- does President Bush even know when dinosaurs existed? Probably not, which is proof positive that a person doesn't need a degree in history to become the leader of the United States.

Me thinks the reason why liberals and socialists don't understand why the country will vote her into office in a few weeks is because she is a traditional American women. Traditional values just don't seem to fit into their world view.
People in "fly-over" country are great Americans and are friendlier and more tolerant that any Hollywood liberal.
Where's are the love from the left? As Austin Powers put it so well: "Show me love, baby. Show me love" :) I thought they were supposed to be the tolerant and accepting and understanding, and with Nobama, all-knowing omnipotent Messiah.
Yesterday Nobama seemingly forgot what which religion he was, speaking of his "Muslim faith". The liberal reporter had to stop him and remind him that he was a Christian.
See and hear for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BobGQTMhxf8
The terrorist organization Hamas has publicly endorsed Nobama. Hear it from the terrorist itself:

And since he is an American citizen, he has the right to voice his views.
2) All the pro-Palin pro-McCain people: Your comments aren't helping your case.
3) Tradition obviously isn't working for America anymore.
If you truly want traditional, you'd be against Palin (as a woman) running in the first place. Women stay at home and push out kids and men go to work. That's traditional.
4) "Liberals: Trust the government. Fear the people.
Conservatives: Trust the people. Fear the government.
Founding Fathers: Trust the people. Fear the government."
Now it's more like--
Liberals: Trust the intellectuals and thinkers (and all their groupies), fear the Bible hicks who can't find America on the map.
Conservatives: Trust the Bible hicks who can't find America on the map, fear the intellectuals and thinkers (and all their groupies).
Founding Fathers: Lets rule this sh*t together somewhat equally and have our slaves work in the fields!!!!

All I can say is all you young, college Republicons better get your affairs in order..........McSame will have to bring back the DRAFT.........THERE'S NO MONEY LEFT TO PAY FOR THE PRIVATIZED ARM OF THE INVASION......BLACKWATER.
Of course, if all is done on the up and up, we will be good and rid of this corrupt-to-the-core crew. Posted 09/10/2008 8:39 PMReply
He wouldn't have gotten near the five planes he crashed, if daddy hadn't been wiping his ass for him.
My brother died of multiple brain tumors from Agent Orange, but he NEVER USED HIS SERVICE FOR INFLUENCE OF ANY KIND PRIOR TO HIS DEATH.
IMHO......McCain is not up to the exhausting, endless task of CLEANING UP THE BUSH-RAVED GOV'T.
It's not a football game, it's a matter of sink or swim, and Obama and Biden are the best choice....just research, and immerse youself in some honesty, and objectivity. Posted 09/10/2008 8:47 PMReply

@ Anonymous: Matt Damon takes some low blows and is afraid if he actually did know anything about Palin, he would have to admit, she is an Alaskan HERO and would shake up business as usual in Washington and that Good Old Boy club. Matt Damon, you are a pig! Posted 09/11/2008 12:46 AMReply

Palin was chosen solely - and I mean ONLY for the fact that she's a "charismatic" Christian. The fact that sheâs a female was probably secondary to the decision as well. Thatâs it. Forget about all those arguments about experience and all the rest.
A bunch of men (no women) from the Council for National Policy AND the McCain staff almost certainly reached an agreement â McCain trades off his VP pick, Dobson endorses the republicans (he talks to 200+ million a DAY) and POOF the formerly dead race is âenergizedâ.
Just spend a few minutes looking at what the Pentecostals believe in and youâll see that the following questions would certainly be valid:
Were fossils deposited by Noahâs flood?
Do you think the earth is less than 10 thousand years old?
Do you believe youâll see the Rapture in your lifetime?
Do you think science in general and evolution specifically is the enemy of religion?
Is America a Christian nation?
Notice how Palin, in a recent interview, uses the word âworldviewâ which is common among Christians Of course no one will ask her these questions but if you could get honest answers to just a few telling questions you would have a good impression of what HER âworldviewâ really is.
Then you would be scared as well. Posted 09/12/2008 11:57 AMReply
I haven't seen actions or policy that help fix crumbling infrastructure, improve education, reduce poverty, help the sick, and end dependance on foreign oil. It's nothing more than investing in America First, before shipping the tax dollars around the world.
Like it or not, only the Republicans can present a viable female candidate, so they will choose someone who is electable by their supporters. This means she says the right things to get the votes, but at the end of the day, she is more clever than any of us think, and I believe we are talking about a future president. I do not have enough faith to believe in evolutionism. It goes against the second law of thermodynamics. Everything in the universe is moving from hot to cold, from order to chaos. The universe is winding down, not up.
One guy put it in very simple terms (always necessary for the elitists among us), Chuck Missler:
If I were to tell you that the digital watch on my wrist came from a store, which came from a manufacturer, which came from a number of natural materials, which was designed on a computer by an engineer you would say "that makes sense".
But, what if I told you that billions of years ago out of sheer chance that the digital watch happen to form by itself you would say "that's crazy". This is what evolutionism attempt to force us to accept.
The wrist on which this digital watch rests is many more times more complex than any digital watch. The body is created with self-replicating, self-healing organic cells. No amount of time can produce such a thing.
Another point he made was this: If theoretically time started running backwards (everything, including you) how would you know? If you were also going backwards in time with everything else is there any way possible that would alert you to this? Yes - a deck of cards.
When you first open a deck of cards it is in order. As you begin to shuffle the cards it loses it's order and becomes "shuffled" or chaotic. When time moves forward the cards become chaotic. When time moves backwards the cards become ordered. As time in the universe moves forward everything created moves from order to chaos.
If time is moving forward then, like a deck of cards, it is impossible for chaos to move into order.
Do you know that our DNA is a digital code? It is a three-out-of-four, error-correcting encryption system. Anything "digital" implies intelligence and a designer. Take for example our digital watch. We know that 8 is a little bit more than 7. Why? Because we all have agreed that it was. There is nothing that proves that the number 8 is more than the number 7, we (intelligence) have designed this.
Some intelligent designer, some call it God, some call it space aliens, or if you are a far-left liberal, Nobama, created this universe.
Me thinks that only by consuming a large quantity of illegal drugs or worshiping at the Church of Oprah can trick a human being into accepting the myth of evolutionism.
