Northwestern Blog Analyzes First Pup Choices, Will The Goldendoodle Win Out?

Now that Obama has been elected president, he can move onto more important matters than campaigning. And that’s picking out a dog! He mentioned in his victory speech that he promised his daughters a new puppy either way, and now America is obsessed with the choice of the First Pooch.

Just a day after the election, North by Northwestern posted a full analysis of choices. The options are thoughtful, but what's really noteworthy is the excessive YouTube videos of amazingly adorable puppies. That alone should make you check it out.

But, as North by Northwestern updates at the end, it’s now become clear that Malia wants a goldendoodle puppy, a designer dog that is part golden retriever and part poodle. These are cute for sure, but are they good enough to call the White House home?

My vote goes to the little guys below. They’re Shiba Inu puppies and the viral video of the live feed has been sweeping the nation. They’d be perfect to have in the Oval Office for important matters. Not even Mahmoud Ahmadinejad could argue with these faces:

^^Not appropriate.

Also, nearly every president has had a dog. Get your facts straight. Also stop being a rude, possibly racist bitch.

I've owned many dogs, from cocker spaniels, labrador retrievers and Old English Sheepdogs to Tibetian Terriers and was a dedicated pure-bred fan. Then last year we got a Golden Doodle and I have to say he is the absolute best dog we've ever had. I think one would be a huge asset to the White House, with the charm, charisma and intelligence they have, they would win over any dignitary! And the non-shedding, non-allerginic factor just adds to the pluses! Posted 11/08/2008 06:46 AMReply

He said he'd like to get a shelter dog, but Malia has allergies, so they'll prob. have to go purbred. Posted 11/15/2008 1:59 PMReply
