What’s up with the recent trend of male celebrities beating women for no apparent reason other than to flex their muscles and overcompensate for their microscopic… self-esteems?

First, the one-hit blunder known as Chris Brown was arrested during the Grammys for allegedly damaging Rihanna’s face to the point where she had to cancel her scheduled performance. And now, the WWE’s Chris Jericho is facing the public firing squad for clocking an enraged female fan that spit on him for being, well, the douchebag scum bucket that he is.

I don’t care if the woman and her angry boyfriend baited Jericho with profane insults. You don’t punch a girl in the face, especially if you’re 200lb. wrestler who can probably dent a plate of steel with your bare knuckles. After all, this is the reason why celebrities pay for security guards: to keep the crazies away, so they don’t have to get slapped with a lawsuit at a later date.

Apparently, Jericho forgot this simple fact after being slammed headfirst into the wrestling ring one too many times. Well, it's either that, or he’s a grade-A douchebag… like all the adoring fans that are defending his actions in the comment section of the YouTube page.
