It wouldn’t be a day at OTR this week without a mention of Visanthe Shiancoe’s penis. So what’s the penis and the football player it’s attached to up to now?

Thanks to Deadspin keeping us up-to-date on the Shiancoe mania, we now know that an adult film studio has made an “exclusive performance offer” to Visanthe with a specific project in mind. I’m seeing Viking costumes…
 

The studio, Black Ice, had this to say:

"From what we’ve seen, there is definitely a career for Visanthe in the adult industry, if he’d like one,” said Black Ice general manager Tony Santoro. “We would welcome an opportunity to align ourselves with a world-class athlete of Viante’s stature."

However, there’s been no comment on the offer by Visanthe and his people yet. What Visanthe is talking about is the reaction from Fox.

Fox apologized publicly and to Shiancoe, who also received a box full of FOX shirts and hats from the station.

“I guess,” Shiancoe said of his gifts from Fox, “to cover up.”

Untrue, Shiancoe, untrue. I think after all the free publicity, FOX is promoting just the opposite. Note the lack of FOX pants or boxers.
