Don’t know what to give a loved one or friend this holiday season? Or what to ask for on your own wish-list? How about a gift that’s generous and thoughtful? How about a gift certificate to Planned Parenthood?
Thanks to a big increase in calls and visits from newly unemployed and uninsured people, Planned Parenthood of Indiana decided to sell gift certificates. The holiday treat comes in $25 denominations and can be used for everything from birth control to pap smears. Even men can enjoy the season’s greetings, putting the money towards an STD screenings or prostate exam.
But what about the big “A” word?
Abortion.
Yup, you can even give the gift of an aborted fetus.
But, Planned Parenthood is quick to chime in, that’s not exactly the purpose of the gift certificates. No, no, they’re supposed to be for preventative healthcare. Still, there are no restrictions, so pick your pleasure at Planned Parenthood.
With the holidays now only weeks away, it’s a time to get excited… who knows, you could have your very own HIV test or pelvic exam waiting for you under the tree.
