The Toyota Concert Series on the Today Show kicked off the summer with a sizzling performance from Rihanna at the Rockefeller Center.
Rihanna sang in front of a crowd of people numbering in the hundreds, many of whom came from out of state.
A group of women proudly held up a sign that said: “All the way from El Paso.” Other people held waved “I Love Rihanna” signs around.
Although most of the concert-goers were either tweens or adults, many college students were also there. One girl from Rutgers is such a fan of Rihanna’s that she’s been at every one of her concerts. Now that’s what I call devotion!
Another girl from Michigan said that she loves the song “Umbrella” so much that it’s the main ring tone on her phone.
Besides, “Umbrella,” Rihanna also sang “Don’t Stop the Music” and her new slow song “Take a Bow.”
