If I see any of you ****ers wearing these logos on t-shirts without giving me credit, it'll be your ass!
Recently I changed my little leprechaun logo which has become what many people think of when they think of me. But to be honest, that character was getting old, and I chose it one day about nine months ago in a rush (btw, the name ha-mace is getting old too, but what am I supposed to do). Turns out some of you wondered what the hell happened to the little mooning leprechaun (OK, one person, I'll take what I can get). So here's a little explanation and a chance for you to have a say in what I (or at least my digital self) looks like.
So, I changed the logo to a Shepherd Fairley inspired image of Joe Paterno. If you're not familiar with Fairley, you've probably seen his iconic images "Andre the Giant Has a Posse" and "OBEY." That's what I was trying to go with here (ok, I got a little help).
Anyway, you can see the first and second images are very similar, with the only difference being the words "JOEPA" and "OBEY." So, I guess the real question here is, is it obvious that that's an image of JoePa? If not you've got to go with the OBEY logo in my opinion, keep it real.
The third image is an interpretation of the original "Andre the Giant Has a Posse" and I love Joe's screaming face in the image. But, it's not accurate to the original since he isn't looking straight ahead. Plus I'm going to have to update the stats every time Penn State wins a game next year.
So, let me know what you think. It's between the three. Or I guess you can say stick with the leprechaun. Or you can tell me to go **** myself. Whichever.
