The daughter of the presumptive Republican candidate and Columbia alum, Meghan McCain is putting daddy to shame. After McCain's controversial ad-attack on Obama's celebrity status, his own kin has been hanging around Rodeo Drive looking to bump elbows with the likes of Los Angeles' elite.

Meghan McCain has recently been rumored to be befriending The Hills' frenemy/villain Heidi Montag. The super blonde bombshell has also been caught getting pampered at the John Freida Hair Salon on Melrose Place. Meghan's become such a celebrity that Matthew Shields, Jane Fonda's stylist was picked to cut and style Meghan's silvery blonde locks.

With this juicy piece of gossip hitting the press, one is left to wonder if Miss McCain has plans to run against her papa for the big job. With Paris Hilton's ad for president, one can only hope that Meghan will run a similar ad professing herself to be the next hot candidate.
