Science Daily is reporting that the summertime dietary staple, watermelon, may not only taste refreshing, but it could very well increase your libido. Tack this fruit onto the other culinary gems of chocolate, oysters, and cayenne that are all reported aphrodisiacs, enhancing one's sex drive as well as one's sexual urges and desires.
Dr. Bhimu Patil, director of Texas A&M’s Fruit and Vegetable Improvement Center in College Station, states that, "the more we study watermelons, the more we realize just how amazing a fruit it is in providing natural enhancers to the human body.” An amino acid in the fruit is known to increase blood flow and relax blood vessels, working in the same vein that the drug, Viagra, does.
Since this weekend is July 4th, and I am sure that many of you co-eds will be grilling steaks and summer squash while swilling down some white peach sangria, don't forget to stop by your local farmer's market to load up on fresh watermelons, as they will enhance everyone's barbeque fun.
